A score of 100 is a benchmark for professional adult player. All Scores were developed using our extensive global database with thousands of results and data points from NHL, AHL, SHL, Czech Extraliga, and other major professional leagues.

Yes. A score of 100 can be exceeded with an extraordinary performance, while negative scores are common for young athletes or athletes on lower levels considering their biological and performance limits.

In Athletix, we are focused on sport-specific testing and performance analysis, not training. But as part of our follow-up communication with all tested athletes, they receive our recommendation to elite NHL-level coaches in different locations that can help with developing individualized and specific programs executed either in-person or online.

Every sport has different performance requirements. Sport-specific testing means that all tested abilities and skills are important specifically for the sport and the same principle is applied to the analysis as well. This is very different from many laboratory testings where athletes from different sports are tested under the same protocols.

The initial testing provides athletes with a very important starting line but regular re-testing is very crucial for tracking the progress. The frequency of this process should be at least twice a year, ideally 3-4 times a year.

Our testing units are traveling to test groups/teams with at least 20 participating athletes.

Complete results in our Athletix Data Zone app are provided usually within 8 hours. When testing bigger groups, this process can take a maximum of up to 24 hours.

All participants receive an email message delivered to provided email addresses with a link to their results in the Athletix Data Zone app.

The testing battery is a term used for a specific set of tests conducted in a standardized order.
OFF-ICE TESTING

One athlete can complete the testing process in 1 hour. The capacity of our unit is testing 6 athletes in one hour.

The Injury Prevention Score is rating a player's overall ability and readiness to prevent non-contact injuries.

The Passive Recovery Score is rating a player's overall ability to recover passively, which is recovering without any activity (e.g. sleeping or lying down).

For our body composition measurements, we are using devices from the leader in the industry - InBody. These devices are using a very accurate method called Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). ANS stands for Autonomic Nervous System. In this testing process, we are using a device called MaxPulse Medicore which provides crucial data for the analysis of players' passive recovery and injury prevention abilities and Scores.
ON-ICE TESTING

The capacity of our unit is testing 10 athletes in one hour. These athletes are tested at the same time in one group on the ice.

Puck Control Score is rating a player's skating ability with the puck. It is calculated based on the difference between the results of the same tests performed with and without the puck.
ATHLETIX DATA ZONE

Every tested athlete receives a follow-up communication from the Athletix team, including a request form for having the results uploaded on the Elite Prospects profile.
